What do you need?
If you are not certain what your needs are and want some help with
the research and planning, give us a call. We will send a general
consultant to your location to meet with you about the situation.
Once the nature of the necessary work has been determined, an expert
in that discipline will be assigned as the project manager. The
project manager will work with you to research, plan, and purchase
and install equipment, if necessary.
Personalized Service
Unlike most professional service providers who employ a couple
of technicians who are responsible for several customers at once,
our project manager will be able to give you his/her undivided attention
until the job is done.
Planning
The project manager will come to your location and investigate
your current setup by testing your existing equipment and applications
and speaking with you or your staff members about any problems you
are having or improvements you wish to incorporate. Research will
be completed to determine the most appropriate and cost-effective
solutions and a proposal will be submitted to you with estimated
costs and turnaround times for your approval.
Purchasing
Because we are not a retailer, any equipment purchases that are
necessary will be made by you with our project manager’s assistance.
We will help you find the best prices available and your purchases
will be shipped directly to you. Eliminating the middleman on equipment
purchases can save you substantial amounts of money and give you
total control over component quality.
Subject Experts and Work Crews
Our project manager will have access to additional experts from
our database, if necessary, for technical support and assistance
with larger or more complex projects. Unlike most professional service
providers, we have hundreds of technicians on file providing a huge
variety of expertise. A crew can be easily compiled to include the
project manager, who will supervise the group, and an expert in
each specific type of work that needs to be done. This setup will
also save you money because each worker is billed at an hourly rate
appropriate to the work each accomplished. So, for example, you
would be charged a much lower rate for the cable puller who installs
the wiring than the network analyst who does the configuration;
or we would charge much less per hour for the data entry operator
that enters all the information than the database designer who set
it up. Again, most professional service providers have only a handful
of technicians available and a set hourly rate for whatever aspect
of the work they are doing.
Lower Costs
The reason why we have access to so many technicians and can bill
for their time at a lower rate than most professional service providers
is because we also operate a staffing service. We maintain a database
of hundreds of screened applicants who are seeking work in Appalachian
Ohio. Many are unemployed, others have jobs but are looking to make
some extra money on the side, and still others are underemployed
and looking for something better. It is for that reason that our
pool of technicians, i.e., applicants, is very fluid and we can
not guarantee that anybody assigned to work for you will be available
the next time you require assistance. We can guarantee, however,
to work hard to ensure that whatever expert is assigned to handle
your future needs is qualified to do so.
Types of Services Provided
The types of projects we can handle is limited only by the types
of applicants in our database. If, however, we do not have the expertise
available to handle the project you have in mind, we will recruit
for additional applicants at our expense.
Some of the more common projects in which we have been involved
include:
- Computer/network installs/upgrades
- Database design and data migration
- Web site and application development
