Search and Placement
When you place an order, we will discuss the position with you
in great detail. We will ask about the skills and training required,
the types of people who have been successful in this position in
the past and those who have not, your future expectations for the
employee and any other information you think pertinent.
We begin our search in our own files, with the hundreds of applicants
who have already been screened and interviewed. If we do not already
have the perfect match, we will run classified ads and use other
methods of recruitment to seek out new applications. We are discrete;
you will remain anonymous in our recruiting efforts and discussions
with candidates until you have decided to meet with them.
We will present you with detailed information about the best-qualified
candidates and make all the arrangements for interviews between
you and the candidates you wish to pursue.
You make the final choice and have full control over all salary
and benefits negotiations. We will handle the final task of notifying
any unsuccessful applicants.

Rates
We bill you only upon satisfactory placement. After you have made
an offer and the applicant has accepted, we ask what your final
negotiations were and bill you a percentage of the anticipated annual
income of the employee. Our current placement fee percentage is
6%.
Advertising – If necessary and if time allows, we will run
an ad for your position at our expense. This advertising will be
in the local newspapers and/or on local radio. If you request additional
ads be run and/or if you want us to run ads in an out-of-town paper,
we will do so at your expense. All ads are run with our name listed
as the contact unless you indicate otherwise, and we will register
all marketable applicants for whatever position we determine is
most suitable.
Special Group Rates – If you are hiring a group of people
to do the same job, we may be able to provide a discount on our
placement fee, depending on the number of hires involved.
Guarantee
If, within six weeks from the placement, the employee does not
work out because of any situation about which we had knowledge or
control, we will work to find a suitable replacement at no additional
cost.
We cannot guarantee satisfaction if the employee performs unsatisfactorily
or resigns because the position (duties, salary or benefits, location,
supervisor, etc.) is not as originally described to either TechConnections
or the employee.
Referral Policy – The applicants
we recruit, screen and refer to you are considered our inventory.
Our policy is that if you hire anyone we refer, whether for temporary
or permanent placement for any position in your company, within
six months of that referral, we will charge you a placement fee
(unless you have utilized our six-week temp-to-perm option, which
is described elsewhere in this brochure).
